Drive at midnight

Posted by admin on Mar-6-2010

I chose to start my journey back to Taiping during midnight before Chinese New Year. It was my first midnight drive in my lifetime. I know it is quite dangerous, but this was how I avoid hectic jam.

I supposed it would be dark along the journey. But surprisingly a lot of people were following my step, or I followed their step. There were a lot of cars along the highway, so the road was bright. Hence, I drove as usual speed, 110-120 km/h.

Two things that we must remember when drive at midnight. Firstly, you have to keep yourself awake, don’t fall in sleep. Secondly, you have to be alert with other drivers, they might fall in sleep! Both are very dangerous, please bear in mind.

Happy night journey.

P/S: I still remembered the moment that I saw sun light in the highway, and those songs that accompanied me along the journey.

Are you losing weight

Posted by admin on Feb-9-2010

Many people were asking a same question to me, “Are you losing weight? You look thinner.”

I believe many ladies would feel happy if someone said that to them. But, this is not I wanted. I think I look better if I can put on more weight. Hence, I would say, “No, is still the same. Maybe just changed of my hairstyle and it makes me looks thinner”.

In fact, I am losing 2KG of weight.

My colleagues advised me go to do a medical check-up. But, I have great confident to my body. I always believe that I will have long life.

So, you resolution of the year is to become thinner, or put on more weight?

About Crocs

Posted by admin on Feb-7-2010

Few years back, Crocs footwear only can be found at the leading high-ended shopping mall. The price for this plastic-made shoe/ sandal would probably cost you RM150 and above. At that time, I don’t see myself will own a pair of Crocs.

Now, you can find Crocs footwear at most of the leading pasar malam (night market). The price is range from RM15 – RM 40. It has become very affordable. Do you know the reason behind? Anyway, I just bought a pair of Crocs at RM 25, very affordable. Since I have no bought any shoe for new year yet, and this type of shoe is quite suitable for me to do volunteering work in future, so I just bought a pair for myself~

Do you own a pair of Crocs as well? *wink!

Let’s join for next charity event

Posted by admin on Jan-23-2010

Our next charity visit to orphanage is fixed on 7th February 2010, Sunday. This is the second charity event that organized by a friend of mine after Taman Sinar Harapan visit. Since there are some remaining funds from last visit, hence, they decided to have the second visit before Chinese New Year. This time, the beneficial home is at Ti-Ratana Welfare Home which is located in Salak South Bahru (Desa Petaling).

I get to know a friend from other charity event that I attended last time, we chatted through MSN and I informed her about this event. She is still thinking to join but she said she knows nobody there except me (honestly, I don’t know most of the people that I tagged along last visit :p). But, she decided to donate RM50. Then, she transferred the money to my bank account immediately. I think she really trust me, Haha.

Hence, I decided to post this event on my blog to see whether I can help in raising the fund. If you would like to donate money, clothes, or even foods, do leave me a message. I will try my best to arrange on goods pick up. If you trust me as my friend did, you can choose to transfer money to my account as well. Anyway, that would be better if you can join the event, the more the merrier~! See you there~

Don’t waste…

Posted by admin on Jan-19-2010

One important that I’ve learned recently is always appreciated and feels thankful with what you have now. Don’t waste things especially food.

Recently, I found a lot of rotten apples other fruits in the fridge. These apples seem like belong to no body, but why they are in the fridge. So, I had to clear it out by throwing them to then bin. I feel like getting my hands dirty for doing such job.

I know we can get food easily in Malaysia. But wasting it is no different like throwing you luck (福份). Someday luck might be away from you, so please appreciated it and hold it tight when it is on your side.
