Safe foods during CNY

The Health Ministry said that the government ensured the foods supplying during Chinse New Year would be safe to consume.
They include mandarin oranges for pesticide residue, dace fish for malachite green, waxed duck, preserved fruits and vegetables, seaweed for heavy metals, honey for antibiotics and mushrooms for pesticide residue. ~The Star~
During festive session, there would a lot of food poisoning cases happen. Most of these are causing by unclean foods and misuse of pesticide. Perhaps this is a good step taken by government to care about people’s health.
