Experience on Malaysia taxi driver
Did you have any bad experience with Malaysia’s taxi driver?
Honestly, I rarely take taxi when I am in KL. I have my own car. But, I heard from my friends and colleagues (foreigners) about their bad experience with Malaysia’s Taxi driver. Below are the reasons:
1) Overcharged from taxi drivers. For instances, Pavilion > Sunway Pyramid (RM50), Bandar Sri Damansara > PJ (RM50), 2KM distance charged for RM5, and many more.
2) Refused to use meter. The taxi drivers will laugh on you if you (dare) ask for it.
3) Being rude on the road.
I rarely take taxi that’s why I am not sure about taxi fare. But, I believe that was overcharged! They were saying Malaysia’s taxi service is one of the worst in the world. So, what is your opinion on Malaysia taxi driver?

I agree totally with your friends and colleagues. The past few times that I took taxi, firstly they are very picky on where they want to drive you and secondly they refused to use the meter. Yeah… you would think that fine, if this guy is giving me the attitude, I will go for another taxi. Problem is, all of them are like that!
I have read news about how this ministry or that ministry wants to improve the taxi services in Malaysia. No Action Talk Only la…. so typical. I may be a bit pessimistic here but I doubt the situation has improved at all.
there’s one time a taxi driver tried to sell me his direct selling products. really teruk lar..i almost want to jump car. hehe..
#Fisherman,
Yeah, it is so sad to see them with such bad attitude. Perhaps this industry is too competitive or what? But this definately will affect our tourism industry!
#Jys,
Wah… That I never heard before!
