I received an invitation email from MyStyle. I have been invited to attend their coming event “Groovy Day Out Event”. This event will be held at SuShi Groove, 1Utama on 17 January, 2009 (Saturday). I am keen to join, but I cannot make it on that day. I will be in Port Dickson on that weekend because of team building.

They will have a lot of activities in this Groovy Day Out event. These are including food and beverages, music performance, lucky draw and more. At the same time, Min Li (winner of StarCeleb TV Hosting Reality Show 07) and Ms. Levy Li Su Lin (Miss Malaysia Universe 08/09) will be appearing on that day! Sadly, I don’t know both of them, so I am not excited at all with their appearance.

I have a date with Chubby-Boy this evening. He comes to KL for attending a training course and he is staying in the hotel near with Pudu Raya bus station. So, we just had the dinner at Nando’s which is just beside the hotel. He is sick, and lazy to walk far for food.

I thought I can use MyStyle mobile coupon to get buy 1 get 1 free promotion. I sent a request SMS to MyStyle, but they said this merchant is no longer with them… So sad, Nando’s is the only merchant that I like in MyStyle.

Although the food in Nando’s is quite expensive, especially their beverages, but, I think it is worthwhile. Because having a great dinner with my Chubby-Boy is priceless… (cold brezzzzeeee)… haha!

I have few months didn’t go to Karaoke. Few weeks ago, I have visited to Neway Karaoke at 1Utama with Chubby-Boy. And, it was a disappointing trip.

I always go to karaoke during the lunch hour. This is the cheapest slot for the day. However, I noticed the charge during the lunch hours slot is increased to RM20++ inclusive of a set lunch. It was RM12++ before!

I ordered a burger set, and it taste badly! I noticed they didn’t peel the chicken skin! I couldn’t finish that set meal at the end. I was putting hope in salad buffet, but, the choices of the salad buffet are lesser now. They even didn’t provide ice-cream in the salad buffet.

We didn’t see much customer on that weekend, maybe is because of the fee is getting expensive and the food quality dropped drastically. So, they extended our room usage to three hours. This is the only the best thing on that day.

As the conclusion, I don’t think will visit to Neway Karaoke unless necessary. This was the first time that I felt disappointed to Neway Karaoke.

I heard Chinese New Year’s songs in shopping mall quite frequent nowadays. Apparently, CNY is approaching. Besides buying new clothes, a lot of people are interested in CNY album as well. So, there are a lot of artist put up CNY album and succeed hit into best selling chart.

I noticed two CNY albums in the market. They are <牛转乾坤庆团圆> from MyFM and < 988金牛报喜过好年> from 988. I tried to search their MTV in YouTube, and I found both albums are available in YouTube! Some videos achieved 10,000 hits in YouTube!

Personally, I never buy any CNY album. How about you? Anyway, I’ve embeded two CNY songs in this post from each album, hope you will enjoy~! Personally, I like the one from 988, what about you?

We were spending our New Year holiday in OneUtama for the entire day. We were there from 11:30AM until 9:30PM. I think is longer than our usual working hours.

So, what did we did in OneUtama for so many hours? We had a bad lunch at 3JC, we shop around, we spent good time in Delicious Café, and then we go to watch YesMan. At the end, we had dinner in BBQ Chicken restaurant, bad dinner too.

It was a tiring day but we were happy with it. How was your first day of 2009?
