A pleasant date
I met an old friend this afternoon. He is one of my best friends during secondary schooling days. But, we hardly meet each other after the secondary school because we studied and work at the different place. I work in Klang Valley, he works in Singapore.
I could met him today is because he will get married soon. His wife is from Klang Valley and quite near with my place. So, we arranged this “dating” (this is the word that we initially use) before he came to PJ.
We met at 3pm and then we went to 1Utama shopping and have our teatime. He told me a lot of things about himself, about his life, and about his wife. Surprisingly, he still can recall some of the funny incidents during our school day, and it is very touching. It has been so long time I didn’t have such a nice “dating” with my friend!
I didn’t snap any picture during the meeting because I know I will keep this memory in my heart. I don’t have the picture about the old time to show but I still remember that he is always my best friend. I hope we will keep this friendship forever.
Last but not least, I feel sorry because I cannot attend his wedding dinner next Sunday. Hope he will live happily ever after with Sophie (or Stepffi, sorry I can’t recall the wife’s name).
