Good news for Fitness First members~! Now, Fitness First allows their loyal customers to bring a friend/ family members to the club on Saturday OR Sunday! This promotion is called First Club membership. All the members who have been fulfilled 10 months tenure with Fitness First then you are entitled to become as a member in First Club. I believe this programme is still at the preliminary stage because they said there will be more discount and privilege for becoming the First Club members.

I like the bring a friend to workout on weekend benefit, next time I can bring Chubby Boy to Fitness First when he came over here~ haha!

I made a big mistake in my work. I supposed to handle an event last Saturday, but the event was cancelled because I didn’t get any further notice on it. Then, I forget to inform a colleague from ICT department. That colleague came to office last Saturday then she called me. I felt so bad, I felt so sorry because of my careless.

I know how important the weekend is. I will give her a treat today to express my sincere apology… The most important thing is I will be dealing with that department a lot… sigh… what can I do now?

Recently I started to invest my money in share market in May 2009. So, I am still a newbie and have tiny hope on the share market. My target is to earn RM100 or above every week. I start my investment by investing the money to those penny shares (share value that less than RM1/ unit). I bought few lots (1000 units/ lot) of share in a time and then sell the share within three days (they said this is called contra) when my target earning is achieved. Normally, I set my target price in the Maybank system every morning and then the system will automatically sell off my shares when my target is matched.

So, this sounds very simple and workable, right? But, I am always careless and forgetful. I bought few penny shares last Monday, and then I forget one of the shares. So, I didn’t set target or monitor on that share. The share increased to my target on Wednesday but I only noticed that I own that share on Friday! My goodness, at that time, the share is dropping! I encounter lost now!

There is always a more risk when we play the penny shares than blue chips. I am not saying blue chip will always increase but at least it is stable. Just cross my finger that the share will be increased on Monday. I definitely will sell it as soon as possible, haha!

Anyone of you have good advice in share investment?

Getting a FREE 40” LCD TV is not a dream, now MBF credit card is running a promotion which giving out Samsung 40” LCD TV to their customers! The contest begins from 15 May 2009 until end of the year. A LCD TV will be giving out everyday!

Indeed, this promotion attracts my attention effectively. Since I am using credit card to pay for my daily expenses, why not I choose to use MBF card? I remember they had run a similar contest last time, but I didn’t win any LCD TV at that time. But this time the contest last until the end of the year, hopefully I can win one for my mum!

The contest is simple. You charge RM30 to MBF card, and then look at the approval code. Send the approval code to them (refer to picture below), and they will automatically sum up every digits of the approval code and get a total. If you score the highest total on that day, then you can relax at home and wait for the LCD TV to be delivered to your home! Apart of it, the lowest five scores in the month also win the same LCD TV. Each successful SMS cost RM0.30.

I’ve sent my first SMS yesterday when I purchased petrol with my MBF credit card. Sorry Citibank, I have to abandon your card for a while until I won a LCD TV in this year… HAHA!

Recently I actively search for buffet promotion. I hope can go for buffet like once in a two months. But there is no point to go there alone. My all-kind stingy housemates will always request worth, branded and affordable buffet. I heard Tenji Japanese buffet is quite classy, and get I alert an ongoing promotion from them in May and June 2009.

It is “Parents Day” promotion. During promotion, Tenji offers RM39.90++ for lunch and supper. Lunch is offer during weekdays and supper is for weekend. The offer is from 11 May 2009 until 30 June 2009. I never been to Tenji before, hope can go for supper session~!
