I like to watch movie at cinema, simple reason, big screen and superb quality sound system. Last week was the craziest movie week for me, I watched four movies in a week!

The free screening will run for four days from 20th – 23rd June 2009, both days inclusive. There are few titles that I wish to watch such as Dragon Ball Evolution, and Slumdog Millionaire. I prefer to go on Saturday but I will need to go for work… I doubt I have the energy to go on Sunday, anyway, just a piece of information for all of you in case you don’t have plan in this weekend. Then, you can go for free movie!

Are you a fan of TVB drama series? Yes, I am. I chase after a lot of their drama since I was kid. Now, I still love it very much.

Recently, Magnum has launched collaboration with TVB. There will be a musical show called “TVB Mega Live Concert Show” on 11th July 2009 at Arena of Star, Genting Highland. The show will start at 8pm. You can expect Bosco Wong (Hong Kong), Myolie Wu (Hong Kong), Ron Ng (Hong Kong), King Kong (Taiwan), Vivian Yeo (Malaysia), Yen Wan Chean (Malaysia - ASQ 2008 Winner), Andrew Tan (Malaysia - ASQ 2006 1st Runner Up) as well as Tate Chan Kok Fai (Malaysia - ASQ 2005 Winner) lined up for this spectacular event!

So, how to get the entrance ticket for this concert? That is pretty easy, just purchase a minimum of RM10 Magnum product, then you will be entitled for two tickets redemption. The redemption details are as below:

I am so keen about this event, but I will be going to Bali for holidays on that day. So, I just share with you the information, but I cannot go… sob…sob…

I will be joining Standard Charted KL Marathon 2009 two weeks later. It will be my first time for joining Marathon. The distance for a full marathon is about 42KM, but I will be joining the 10KM run.

This run will be held on 28th June 2009 (Sunday). I have blog about this few months ago when I registered this KL Marathon 2009. Since the event date is getting close, the organizer has announced the date for Run Pack Collection. The collection dates are as follow:

This will be my first run in my life, hope I can make it and bring back a medal. Wish me good luck!

I realized my car insurance and road tax third day after they were expired. This incident was the first time to me; I always renew my car insurance one month before it is expired because Panglobal will always remind me for the renewal. But, now Panglobal is took over by Tokio Marine insurance company. They didn’t notify me on this, so I was totally forgot!

At the time I noticed it, it was too late. I was so frustrated and called to Tokio Marine. They said I can still get the insurance and roadtax within two days by paying all the necessary fees on that day. But, I don’t have fax machine to do so many documentation stuffs on that day because I was away for training for whole week! A lot of things just came at the same time and I encountered a lot of constraints too. So, I checked about online insurance and found out few online inurance services that available in Malaysia:

1) MyEg.com.my
You can choose to fill up online form, make payment, and then road tax will be delivered next day. The easiest way is call them (03- 7801 8888) and give them the car plate number and owner IC number. No any document is required.

2) Easyrenew.com.my and Etiqa.com.my (through maybank2u.com.my)
Similar processes like MyEg.com.my, but I read their delivery details, the road tax might need to take up to seven days to be delivered to your doorstep. Even though EasyRenew.com.my does mention the process normally takes one to two days, but I really can’t afford to take the risk for waiting.

I was SO desperate to get road tax and car insurance, so I choose the first option. I received my road tax next day after I made the online payment thru credit card. I heard they also accept Maybank transfers as well.

That was a tragedy to my driving experience. I was so careless. But next time I know where I can get fast car insurance and road tax service~ Anyway, I hope it wouldn’t have next time! Do you have such experience as well?

We went to IKEA for buying something last weekend. We forget that they have started not providing plastic bag for customers starting 5th June 2009. They encourage customers to use reusable bag that selling at RM1.90 OR bring your own bags. It was selling at RM2.50 or above last year, if I am not mistaken. Every normal plastic bag is selling at 10 cent or 20 cent depending on its size. We spent 10 cents for a plastic bag on that day. We have ‘plenty’ of reusable bags at home, just forgot to bring it.

By doing this, it brings positive imagine to the company. At the same time, they can cut cost as well then continue to provide their goods in lower price. I am okay with it, what do you think?
