Bali: Things that happen upon arrival
In the flight, I met a group of people from Johor, they also went to Bali for holiday. That was their team activity where the company paid for it. We were chit-chatting in the flight. Wao~ I really hope that our company will send us to Bali for holiday as well!
A day before, I called to the first hotel that I would be staying for the first night. Most of the hotels in Kuta/ Legian area provide free air-port transfer to hotel. So, my called was about the free air-port transfer arrangement. But, when I was at the international arrival hall, I couldn’t find the representative from the hotel! I was quite nervous but luckily I brought the hotel contact with me. I asked people around there on how to make call to the hotel. I don’t know why I cannot make call by using my DiGi prepaid when I was in Bali. At the end, the phone shop owners lent me the landed phone for making a call. The driver was caught in traffic.
I understand that without a phone in hand is really inconvenient in the current world. Hence, I bought a XL prepaid card (Indonesia mobile operator) from the seller. The prepaid card cost Rp60,000 (almost RM 21) with Rp5,000 credits inside. According to the dealer, this is the cheapest plan in Indonedia.

After 15 minutes of waiting at airport, the hotel drive has arrived and apologized politely. I said it is fine, as long as you keep the promise and pick me up from the airport, haha! It was almost 9pm when I was at the hotel room. I tell you, my room is facing a small orchard with banana trees…
