SuZhou River

Posted by admin on Nov-30-2009

One of the significant creek for being the demarcation line between political spheres of influences throughout Shanghai’s history. It is also a film by Lou Ye that tells the transient lives of four people at the margins of Chinese society. This time, it is a song sang by Fiona Sit. I like this song very much lately. I am listening to this song for so many times this few days. I like the lyrics by the song writer, but Fiona Sit just cannot bring the mood to the peak. Anyway, I still like it as it tells my feeling.

Breakfast in a coffee shop

Posted by admin on Nov-27-2009

Today is the public holiday but I need to be on duty at the office. However, I can take my own sweet time to drag myself to the office because it is not a usual working day. Hence, I stopped by at a coffee shop to have my breakfast.

Normally I would choose to be seated at the table near to the side because usually the table setting at that side is meant for lesser people. While I was having my breakfast, I noticed that the whole row of tables at the side were occupied by people who went there alone (of course I am one of them). This makes me think of a recent TVB drama that said every loner in the coffee shop has their own place. They are old and alone, then will spend their lonesome time in the coffee shop.

Sometime, being alone is a freedom, but you have to bear in mind most of the time it would be so lonesome. The latter one would kill a person, pathetic…

Just a simple conversation

Posted by admin on Nov-26-2009

I had a simple conversation with Keone last night. It was a short conversation but inspiring. He still busy as usual in his new working environment.

Keone: Looking at the current workload, I might be living alone in old hag’s house and die at the end of the day.

Sean: Me too, live alone, die and rot alone in old hag’s house.

Keone: Then you can come to China then we can stay together in old hag’s house then die.

Sean: I will choose to live in New Zealand, die and rot there alone.

Keone: Would it be too cold for old man, and will it be bored and lonely?

Sean: Better than Canada. Internet and technology would keep you busy and entertained all the time.

Keone: OK, then we can plan for 20 years later in NZ.

Then the conversation was kept going on… But I was stopped at the point, 20 years. Will I get retired after 20 years? Of course I won’t die in young, I have the feel that I would live long this life, Haha… But, will I have enough money for retirement after 20 years?

Something to ponder of…

I won’t be back after this…

Posted by admin on Nov-22-2009

According to Spiritual Therapy Response (SRT), each soul would have the record of the number of incarnation that it has passed through before. One of my friends is a SRT practitioner, so he helped me to check on the number of my physical incarnation. I have to say I am so grateful to know that now is at 366,666th of incarnation, which is the last time for me to be here…

From my understanding, after I died, I (to be precise, is the soul) have a choice to or not to come back again. If I choose not to come back, I will work in spiritual realm. There is no space and time to live in spiritual realm.

Since all people have been going through so many times of incarnation, I believe the people around me might be someone that we loved, or loved us in the past lives. So, I have decided to treat people around me nicely. I won’t have the chance to meet or to know about you all again after this lifetime.

It is a good thing. I do hope people who are attending my funeral in future won’t be sad or cry for me, please. It is so grateful that I don’t have to come back and go through the suffer in the world. Cheer, okay? hooray~

The carnival

Posted by admin on Nov-19-2009

After came back from the carnival, I think it would be better if it is held in the country which has four season. Then, this carnival should held in spring or autumn. I don’t think organizing carnival in Malaysia is a good idea because of the weather. Many people just don’t enjoy running and playing under the hot sun.

Luckily, our carnival is held at indoor arena, and it was a raining day. Hence, it wasn’t that stuffy that I expected. The carnival was began at 5pm, and I arrived there on time. For those who came earlier, they would entitled a lucky dip. I won a DVD micro system in this lucky dip. It gave me hopes to win great prize in the lucky draw. But of course at the end I didn’t.

There are a lot of station games around. I played almost all the games, but I still preferred Wii game. Because this was the easiest way to collect tickets. With the tickets collected, we could redeem soft toys. At the end, I managed to redeem three soft toys. I wanted a medium bear, but by the time I collected enough tickets, all bears were redeemed by other colleagues.

If I were on the dress as I planned before, I would walk away that RM1000 prize. Sadly, I had no mood to dress up. My colleague sent me back around 11:30pm, I was totally drunk, totally. However, I managed to show him the way to get back to my house. Then, I collapsed… haha…
