The incarnation

Posted by admin on Nov-18-2009

This topic is often relate to religion. As far as I know, Buddhism does mention about incarnation. According to Buddhism, we will go through incarnation after we were died until we achieved certain degree of enlightenment. In order to get the enlightenment, we have to be a good person. Life is tough, means you have to go through this tough process again and again unitl you are enlightened. It is not easy to achieve that, we might be coming back for million of times!

If you know about Spiritual Response Therapy (SRT), it has another interpretation in incarnation. I get to know about this from a friend. Based on SRT, human (more accurately to mention as soul) has to go through a total of 366,666 times of incarnation in the universe. The 200 times of the total will be in the earth. After the maximum incarnation, you can choose to live in spirit (soul) form or come back for another incarnation.

I have no idea about incarnation in Christianity and other religions.

I do believe in incarnation. I hope this time would be the last time. I don’t want to come back again.

Would you charge for helping people?

Posted by admin on Nov-13-2009

I had lunch with colleagues from other department yesterday. One of the colleagues shared her experience when she encountered car tyre punctured few days ago. She doesn’t know how to change tyre, so she parked her car at the side and asked for helps.

There is a commercial area where a lot of people passing by. She asked for helps from two gentlemen. That two gentlemen asked for money for changing the tyre, and it is RM100! She has had no choice but bargain with them. At the end, she got her tyre changed by paying them RM50.

Then, my colleague asked me how much I would charge if I were the gentleman. That gave me a shock. I said I wouldn’t charge anything from that person who asked for help.

Money is such a powerful tool. If you help people with sincere heart, I think you wouldn’t ask for money in that case. People nowadays are manipulated by money and sometime forget who they are. Sometime, people might get lost, and I’ve experienced it before. You might be trying hard, and work hard to chase for money, at the end, you would notice you might lost more things in your life.

Try to observe things around you, and care the people around you. The world is still beautiful.

Carnival~

Posted by admin on Nov-10-2009

I will be joining our company carnival this Saturday. It is an event that to replace the usual annual dinner. The theme of the carnival is COLOUR! At first, I was not attracted by this, but, when I found that the best dress can win RM1000, then I have started to think about this!

There would be five prizes for best dress, male and female category. First prize is RM1000 and I know the fifth is RM100. Of course, I am aiming for the RM1000! Hence, I asked around my friends about what to do for my carnival costume. And here is what my friend had suggested…

The idea is from Priscilla Queen of the Dessert (the musical)

Okay, it may look so fancy and exaggerated, haha! But it is carnival; it should be FUN FUN FUN! However, I don’t know where to get those costumes for myself… If I really found it, would I wear it to the carnival? I tell you, for that RM1000, I would, HAHA! Now, I have nothing to afraid about~!

Dinner- Granola bars

Posted by admin on Nov-8-2009

Suddenly think of a day of few weeks back, it was a raining day. I supposed have a dinner appointment with a friend, but he couldn’t make it at last. I was so reluctant to go out and buy food for myself, okay, another reason was I didn’t have good appetite lately. But, I can tell you, this time your stomach just don’t want to follow with your instructions. It would kept complaining “I am hungry, I need food!”. See? Such a dilemma, brain and stomach went to different pathway.

Luckily, I had two Granola bars that I got from Men’s Health Run someday ago. Hence, I quickly checked the expiry date (thanks god, few weeks more to expiry date!), and then stuffed it into stomach to satisfy its needs! Phew… one night over… and I am survived :D
