Forever 28~

I met a friend from US couple weeks ago. He was here for a business trip. We have been chatting through the MSN for few years, but it was our first meeting.

Something I want to talk about him is the way he ‘blog’. Nowadays, we write about our experience, our trip, food that we had, and many thing through the online platform, or we call it ‘blog’. But, his still write on book. We upload pictures on our blog; he pasted the real paper such as restaurant bills, train tickets, bank notes, etc on his log book. I can say the feeling of reading it was so REAL! Now, he has written 28 books for his life.

I don’t have a camera with me during our meeting. Otherwise I will snap his log book and post on my blog. He also didn’t bring a pen with him while we met, otherwise he would ask me to write something on his log book.

Apart his own writing, he also showed a few “ancient” books and photos to me. There is one Titanic picture with a survivor’s autography! So, thank you Jack Stanley for bringing such a meaningful evening to me!

I chose to start my journey back to Taiping during midnight before Chinese New Year. It was my first midnight drive in my lifetime. I know it is quite dangerous, but this was how I avoid hectic jam.

I supposed it would be dark along the journey. But surprisingly a lot of people were following my step, or I followed their step. There were a lot of cars along the highway, so the road was bright. Hence, I drove as usual speed, 110-120 km/h.

Two things that we must remember when drive at midnight. Firstly, you have to keep yourself awake, don’t fall in sleep. Secondly, you have to be alert with other drivers, they might fall in sleep! Both are very dangerous, please bear in mind.
