Do you love you pet too?

Posted by admin on Dec-9-2008

Just if you have a pet the Pet Society, then you probably would like to decorate your pet’s house, dressing up, and so on. As you know, I have Chubby as my pet in Pet Society.

During I was sick at last week; I ‘work hard’ to earn coin in getting good furniture for my pet. I spent 2000 coins for bed, 600 coins for a radio, 200 coins for couch, and many items in the room…

Again, this is a virtual pet, which is considered easier to take care of it. Do you have a REAL pet in your life? Do you treat it as good as I do to my Chubby? HAHA~!

My pet, my Chubby

Posted by admin on Dec-2-2008

I started my FaceBook-ing few weeks ago even I registered as the member couple years ago. Yesterday, I joined a FaceBook game, which is Pet Society.

I was invited by KY for this game. In the game, Chubby is my pet, and I designed its outlook. I have to earn coin in order to buy furniture, wallpaper, mistletoe, clothes, food, and such. I can earn coin thru race, play Frisbee, play ball, jump the robe, and more. I won few trophies in these games, and two of these are GOLD!

However, my society is so small because I don’t have many friends in my FaceBook. Most of my friends are not interested with Pet Society as well. I hope to expand my FaceBook and/ or Pet Society. So, if you are playing this game, please let me know and I can add you in my friends too~

Into gaming lately…

Posted by admin on Nov-22-2008

Yesterday was my birthday, but I only manage to post it today. Because there are two things that make me so busy: work and game.

I do not have to further elaborate about work, but the latter one just come into my life recently when Keone bought his PlayStation Portable (PSP) few weeks ago. I am fascinated with a tactical role-playing game- Jeanne D’Arc!

At first, I played LokuRoku, it is a cute stages-type of action game. Normally, action game will not let you addicted but role-playing game does! I spend time to train my party, try to think of the way to defeat enemies, spend time to read the story (but I skipped a lot lately).

I didn’t play game for quite a long period. I don’t like to play game in PC. I have to thanks to Keone being so generous to share his PSP with me.  Do you into gaming too? What games are you playing now?

Zip Zip Zip

Posted by admin on Nov-5-2008

Few days ago, I downloaded a (movie) file from the internet. The file was zipped in RAR format and it was password protected. Indeed, I have the password to extract it; but the password is in Chinese characters!

When I tried to copy and paste the password in the password dialogue box, WinRaR couldn’t recognize it! I am running in Windows XP Home edition and installed with Asian Language package. I wonder why it couldn’t extract my file!

7ziplogo.png7ziplogo.pngAt the end, I read the solution from a forum. Apparently, there are numbers of people are having the same problem. They recommend 7-ZIP in the forum. It is open-source software which is providing more powerful functions! I installed it and it works fine with the Chinese characters! I am so happy with it!

Anyway, I still have no idea what’s wrong with Chinese character in the encryption. Was it because the problem of WinRAR or it is my Windows XP bring trouble?

My Gmail being hacked

Posted by admin on Aug-14-2008

Last night was tragedy for me. Suddenly, my Gmail account is gone from me. I totally cannot login to my account. It prompted me the incorrect password combination. At first, I thought it was the temporary maintenance or error, but my housemates didn’t have such problem in accessing their email!

For your information, I have a lot of things inside my Gmail mailbox. I can’t afford to lose it! After few attempts, I suspect someone hacked into my account and changed the password. I tried to find the way to recover the password. However, I didn’t have secondary email address for Gmail to send me the recovery password. Luckily, there is a form for me to fill up and submit it to Google.

I thought it takes at least a day to get contacted by Google, but I received their reply after 30 minutes! I really impressed with their prompt service. I followed the step recovered my account. Thanks GOD!

The story hasn’t ended here! There was another scary thing happen at the same time. My account at my main-stream-blog-earning platform also being hacked! I encountered the same thing! That makes me suspect someone did it in purpose. I don’t know who that devil is. I think nothing I can do toward that devil if I know it. How pathetic it is, right?
