Apart of visiting Fitness First in Manila, things that I did the most in my recent trip to Manila was eating. I have visited to many restaurants in Manila and generally they are not bad. The only buffet that I visited was Yakimix (新天下日韩料理) restaurant. In this restaurant, you can enjoy Korea cuisine, Japanese cuisine, and Cantonese cuisine in one time!

There are few Yakimix restaurants in Manila. I went the branch which is located in Greenbelt 3, Makati. They have other branches in SM Mall of Asia, Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, Tomas Morato, Trinoma Mall, Podium, and SM Masinag. From the number of branches, you can see how famous it is in Manila.

In term of pricing, it is considered cheap compare to same style of buffet that serves in Malaysia. We paid P599 (about USD 14.50) per pax for dinner in weekend. I heard there is promotion for weekday lunch which is P499 (about USD 12) per pax. So, I believe this is very good deal for a buffet in a nice environment. The buffet price stated is not inclusive of drinks, but they do provide free flow of drinking water. So, it is optional for you to order extra drinks.

Now you see the price is affordable, so you can expect to see crowd waiting outside before the restaurant open for business. I will advise you to call for booking before you visit to Yakimis restaurant to ensure your seat. At the same time, please be there slightly earlier before they open for business. Below are the business hours:

• Mon - Thurs: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm (lunch) and 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm (dinner)
• Fri - Sun: 11:00 am - 2:30 pm (lunch) and 5:30 pm - 10:30 pm (dinner)

Fasting month is just around the corner. All the Muslim will start fasting next month 1st August 2011 until the Hari Raya celebration. McDonald’s has just launched a promotion for Buka Puasa (breaking fast) in the conjunction of the fasting month. But of course, this promotion is open to all people, not particularly for Muslim.

If you are McDonald’s GCB burger’s lover, then here is good news for you. Now you can grab McDonald’s GCB medium set in discounted price for lunch time (12pm-3pm) and Buka Puasa period (6pm – 9pm). This set meal is selling at RM 9.95 during promotion period and come with medium size of carbonate drink and French Fries. There is Double GCB available too which is selling at RM 14.95.

I’ve never tried McDonald’s GCB before; I should try this during the promotion period. This promotion is for limited time only!

Here is the information about Jacky Cheung 1/2 Century Concert 2011 in Malaysia! There are few nice concerts will be held in the second half of the year, example like Faye Wong 2011 Concert in Malaysia, in November. Then, the next must go concert is Jacky Cheung ½ Century Tour in Malaysia (张学友1/2世纪演唱会 – 马来西亚 )on 9th and 10th December 2011 [updated: Now available for 11th December 2011 TOO!] in Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil. This time, Jacky Cheung will perform two concerts in Malaysia, but there is news saying due to overwhelming responds, there might be possible to add another show. However, the news and date are yet to confirm.

So, for this time being, we just talk about the information of confirmed Jacky Cheung ½ Century Tour 2011 in Malaysia. The ticket prices and discount are as follow:

• Normal ticket range from PS 1, PS 2, and PS 3 are RM 328, RM 228, and RM 128 respectively.
• VIP tickets from VVIP and VIP are RM 688 and RM 488 respectively.
• All the tickets are numbered seats.

American Express (AMEX) card holders can start to purchase pre-sales tickets from 16th – 29th July 2011 with 10% discount for [9-10 December, SOLD OUT] shows. But the discounted tickets for 11 December are still available! There are 1000 limited tickets per show for the discount. Up to today, all discounted tickets for AMEX pre-sales are sold out. I believe this is excited news for Faye Wong fans in Malaysia. Faye Wong Malaysia Concert 2011 will be held on 6th November 2011 (Sunday), 8PM in Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil. The ticket price will be from RM 180, RM 280, RM 380, RM 480, and RM 580. The VIP tickets are selling at RM 680, RM 880, and RM 1080.

Yes, I agree that VIP tickets expensive especially the one most expensive one RM 1080.
